Know all the theories,
master all the techniques,
but as you touch a human soul,
be just another human soul.

I am super excited to be able to offer guidance and support to fellow Social Workers on their learning/growth journey.  It is absolutely an honor and a privilege to be able to give back to my profession in this incredibly valuable way!!

I am a LCSW-S who earned both my Bachelors of Social Work and my Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Supporting others is truly a calling for me.  I have more than 20 years of experience working with children, tweens/teens, adults, and families in various settings including child welfare, foster care and adoptions, hospital (perinatal and emergency room), maternity home, residential treatment, schools, group practice, and private practice (currently).

I use an evidence-based, relationship-rich, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and family systems-oriented approach.  I will provide you with a nurturing, attuned, non-judgmental, safe space to foster exploration/learning, growth, and build trust and confidence in your skills.  I have training in various modalities including CBT, TF-CBT, Theraplay, Child-Centered Play Therapy, TBRI, EMDR, and Emotional Transformation Therapy (in process currently); however, I firmly believe that what to do is not nearly as important as how to be . . . building a relational foundation is the most important piece.
